Colonial Willow Bench with Carvings

This long bench is made of willow wood and displays robust and simple “scaly” style carvings—typical of the Valley of the Volcanoes, Andagua, Arequipa, where it was found. This piece dates back to approximately the beginning of the 19th Century.
