Colonial Alder Bench with Carvings

This beautiful long bench is made of alder wood and displays carvings of floral motifs and abundant balusters. Remnants of its original blue paint has been conserved. This piece was rescued from an antiquarian in Pisac, Sacred Valley, Cusco. It can be traced back to somewhere between the 18th Century and beginning of the 19th century.
