Description: Crafted from oak originally brought from central América in colonial times, that had been recovered from a demolished house in down town Lima. The boards are made of moena and “Tornillo” a fine jungle robust wood. The back is made of larch (also from the colonial age) that was recovered from the same demolition. The hinges and nails were forged artisanally, and the door bolt is an original from the republican era (19th century)
