Colonial Willow Bench with Carvings

This long bench is made of willow wood and displays “scaly” style carvings and beautiful ballasts. It was found in a hacienda amongst the ruins of Colca Valley, Arequipa. This piece dates back to approximately the beginning of the 19th Century.
